All levels. Courses are given in English, Spanish, French, Italian…

Jeanne Moreau, owner of the Gîte de Chabanne is American and will share with you her love for the Limousin where she has lived for the last 25 years…  

First Option: Programmed Workshops

Sign-up with your group to one of the existing Workshops organized by Lorenzo Rappelli in the studio settings in Saint-Sylvestre (2 miles from the Gîte de Chabanne). Monday evening welcome diner and presentation of the Workshop.

Classes are Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:30 AM and from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Lunches are organized for the group at the local inn (“Inn of the Margnac Mill”)

800 meters from the Gîte de Chabanne.   

Price :

280 € (approximately $410) for the 4 days (equipment and meals not included).

For the 5 meals, total cost would be approximately 60 € ($90)

Second Option : Workshop "à la carte" 

Lorenzo Rappelli will organize different workshops « à la carte », especially for your group, out of these periods,  according to your level and your choices: oil, pastels, or both, including some “plein air” sessions in the beautiful landscape surroundings. (minimum 4 persons, maximum 9 persons).

- Two or several days can be included using the studios of St Sylvestre

- Price according to the size of the group and the duration of the workshop:

- 90 € per person and per day for small groups (from 4 to 6) and

- 80 €/pers./day for larger groups (7 to 9).

Third Option : Demonstration at the Gîte de Chabanne

Lorenzo Rappelli will demonstrate the art of oil and pastel in a 2 hour session on site or in a « plein air » environment and will create a painting in front of you…

Cost of this demonstration  = 150 €

Suggestion : combination workshops with « cooking and painting » can be easily organized for groups interested in a variety of activities typical to the French culture.
