Le Gîte de Chabanne is a 5 stars Gîte Rural in the Limousin, about 20 Km from Limoges.  It is located in the small and typical village of Chabanne, along the lac de la Crouzille, in the beautiful site of the Monts d'Ambazac. The area offers multiple activities, beautiful walking paths in the country, for hiking by foot or bikes, the magnificent site of the Lac de St Pardoux, is nearby (5 km) including its beaches, fishing and water activities www.lacsaintpardoux.fr, Several equine centers are located nearby, including the Domaine du Muret in Ambazac.

Several castles and historical places are also close including the Richard the Lion sites. www.chalucet.com. The Dordogne valley is about 45 minutes away. You will find activities for all sports including some magnificent golf courses nearby (3 only 30 minutes away) www.golf-porcelaine.com

The Gîte de Chabanne is quite attractive! It is an old farm (18th century), completely renovated, with a capacity of 14 beds (4 individual bedrooms for couples and a large sleeping quarter with 6 single beds, ideal for children), 3 bathrooms. There are multiple activities on site including a heated pool (from May to October depending on the weather conditions), Jacuzzi, Sauna, gym and sport room, pool house in an old restored "four à pain", a game room, a pool table, a “baby-foot” table, wifi and high speed internet, large screen plasma screen with satellite channels...books, social games are also provided…

We have equipped the Gîte with all high standard facilities, including outside:  a heated pool, a court for "pétanque", a ping-pong area, a pool house in an old barn next to the pool, including a "four à pain", with outside a large barbecue, a gazebo plus all outside furniture... a gas heated parasol and 3 mountain bikes are also available.

The gîte is accredited for people with reduced mobility, has an inside parking for 5 to 6 cars and a garage for one vehicule.

The local shops and supermarkets are located in Ambazac (7 km away). There are some very nice restaurants nearby for all type of budgets and Limoges is only 15 minutes away… and in 2020, la Brasserie des Monts d’Ambazac opened in the village of Chabanne, 200 meters away from the Gîte de Chabanne.
